The project explores past and present experiences of women in a former Soviet country, using photography, ethnographic observation, and cotton as a symbolic thread connecting histories, identities, and labor. By blending archival materials, personal stories, and self-portraiture, the work creates a non-linear temporal space that fosters dialogue, reflection, and awareness of broader social and historical challenges.
